Tucked away in a lively part of Torrevieja, this tapas bar invites a genuine Spanish experience, especially for those who enjoy small plates and a well-curated selection of beers, coffee, and wine. The atmosphere shifts throughout the day—from a calm spot suitable for solo dining or a quiet catch-up around 5pm, to a bustling and vibrant terrace where groups and tourists gather, especially during peak hours. Outdoor seating offers a relaxed vibe, while indoors retains a cosy, casual feel, with attentive staff who make an effort to bridge language gaps and welcome visitors unfamiliar with the local scene.
The menu leans towards traditional Spanish flavors, with dishes like octopus, jamón, croquettes, and fresh salads standing out among the options. While some find the food hits a range of expectations—sometimes delivering solid, comforting meals rather than standout culinary surprises—it remains a place where the focus is on authentic tastes rather than innovation. Brunch, lunch, and dinner are all served here, with a noted ease for quick bites or a more leisurely meal, including healthy choices and offerings suited for kids.
Visitors often come for the convivial, no-frills setting where you can enjoy a glass of wine or a cold beer alongside a varied tapas spread. The ambience is casual yet trendy enough to feel welcoming for different types of diners, from locals wanting a familiar Spanish bar atmosphere to tourists seeking a taste of regional flavors. Accessibility is thoughtfully considered, making it an inclusive spot whether you’re dining solo or with family, and the combination of indoor and outdoor seating means there’s typically a setting to suit the mood.

"A bar with very friendly service, good wine and tasty tapas."
"As always good selection of drinks and food on offer."
"We arrived and got a table and ordered two beers while we looked at the menu."
4 New waiters let foreigners feel very welcome. Used to feel not welcome here. Like it was only for the Spanish
5 Very spanish bar/restaurant... in the very good way.
4 Barely found one table available without reservation. The place became packed very fast, and very noisy. Food was good but not outstanding, as we have heard, previously. We ordered paella with seafood and pulpo. I wouldn't go back.
5 This is one if my favorite places in Torrevieja. It’s very authentic spanish, with a lot of tapas, and a magical outdoor terrace. I know it’s some mixed feelings about the food, Spanish food can be either absolutely delicious or very tasteless. I have always loved the different dishes I’ve been eating here. The Octopus is fantastic, the jamón, the croquettes and ensaladas. The service is fantastic!
5 Visit in a queit time of day 5pm to make sure we got a seat inside away from smokers.very pleasant staff so we could try our spanish and they helped us with english in return.i had spaghetti boloniese and wife had chicken.very tasteful and the spanish beer and wine was very nice. Price to pay was very good. Some people comment about sauce not being reduced enough, but reminder to some it's not a Michelin star resturant with high price food it's a tapas bar serving local everyday people. Parking is plentiful and you can eat indoor and outdoor.
4 Good bar restaurant, very busy, had pealla and salad. The pealla was good but have had better, would go again, and not to expensive.
5 Stopped by for a quick beer and a coffee. All good, nice terrace.
5 Perfect food, only a little bit noisy place. But the food was great. The best pulpo in Torreviaje.
Tapas like octopus, jamón, croquettes, and ensaladas are favorites, with seafood paella also available.
It suits both quick bites and relaxed sit-down meals, with options for food at the bar or table service.
